“Inclusive Communities through Dialogue and Participation” in Soroca

Our group of beneficiaries, persons with special
needs, arrived in Soroca to participate in the second study visit within the
project “Inclusive Communities through Dialogue and Participation”.
With positive emotions and good mood, people with special needs from Balti
municipality had the opportunity to study and exchange experiences with the
active organizations from Soroca focused on working with people with
disabilities and defending their rights.
This study visit lasted 2 days, during which Diana Grosu and Eugenia Varzari,
representatives of the “Lex XXI Human Rights Association” from Balti
together with the beneficiaries (persons with special needs) learned new things
and methods, practiced in Soroca.
The social inclusion of persons with disabilities is a current field of
research, stating that this population group continues to be marginalized and
excluded from the life of the society. For these reasons, we organized a small
trip in which we visited the access routes to different institutions in Soroca.
This event took place thanks to the financial support from the US Embassy in
the Republic of Moldova.
